About Me

My name is Matty Madden, I am a graduate student pursuing an M.A. in Lifespan and Digital Communication at Old Dominion University, currently working on my capstone project and set to graduate in August 2023. In addition to being a Research Assistant at ODU, I am also a media specialist for the Norfolk Forum. I have a passion for multimedia storytelling and enjoy working in fast-paced environments. My favorite aspect of working in this field is being constantly surprised by what each day consists of and how it fosters a diverse skillset and wide scope of knowledge and experiences. I've served as chapter president and am currently serving as Graduate Advisor for ODU's chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America. Professionally, I aspire to be in a position where I can write stories and produce media on behalf of organizations and people that I am passionate about.
